Nature of case: This latest case in the Wembley stadium litigation concerned a clause in a consultancy agreement for the provision of architectural services between an architectural consortium and the design and build contractors. The Court held that the clause obliged the consortium to provide the contractors with assistance, including access to personnel, so as to enable them to carry out a full and systematic review of the services provided by the consortium. The Court also provided guidance as to the time period and extent of this assistance.
