Adrian Williamson QC explored the issues arising from the recent decision of the Supreme Court in Bresco Electrical Services Ltd (in liquidation) (Appellant) v Michael J Lonsdale (Electrical) Ltd (Respondent), and the litigation leading up to it, including the Court of Appeal decision. Topics covered included:
- Adjudication by companies in liquidation: jurisdiction/utility/enforcement.
- Adjudication by companies in CVA or similar: jurisdiction/utility/enforcement.
- The taking of jurisdictional objections in adjudication.
- Whether there will now be a large number of adjudications by companies in liquidation.
