"Have We Got Planning News For You" is a weekly chat show which discusses hot topics in UK town & country planning. It features a core panel of five planning specialists Keating's Charles Banner QC, Sacha White QC (Landmark), Paul Tucker QC (Kings Chambers), Christopher Young QC (No5 Chambers) and Mary Cook (Town Legal), plus weekly special guests. The series started off as a way to provide some light hearted updates during the first lockdown, with a weekly guest and encouragement to viewers to make a charity donation to NHS Clap for Carers in lieu of a webinar fee but has since expanded significantly, becoming a huge success story and a key part of any planning practitioner's week. Amassing over 30 episodes to date (since 23 April 2020), guest speakers have included TV’s Judge Rinder, Lord Carnwath (the former Supreme Court Judge), Joanna Averley (MHCLG’s new Chief Planner gave her first interview in post), and Sarah Richards (CEO of the Planning Inspectorate), and a diverse range of topics are explored including two episodes dedicated to maximising gender and ethnic diversity in the planning and property sectors featuring Charlotte Morphet (founder of "Women in Planning") and Priya Shah (founder of "BAME in Property"). Past episodes can be viewed on their dedicated YouTube site and information on forthcoming episodes is available on their website or LinkedIn page.
