Nature of case: This case concerned a multi-million pound contractual dispute arising out of an agreement for the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel at Sellafield. The Court held that the Defendant companies were entitled to rescind side-agreements for the reprocessing of nuclear fuel on the grounds that the Claimant nuclear reprocessing company had misrepresented its capacity to reprocess fuel.
