Decision of Ben Plenty BSc (Hons) DipTP MRTPI dated 2 December 2022 allowing an appeal against the decision by Waverley Borough Council in relation to a custom / self-build scheme in Dunsfold, Surrey.
Observations on the approach to custom/self-build need and supply, and consequent weight, which in this case was sufficient, along with the potentially modest 5YHLS shortfall, to outweigh less than substantial harm to a designated heritage asset and limited non-accordance with the development plan on landscape grounds.
