Nature of case: In judgment handed down on 19 April, Coulson J accepted, in part, Roche Diagnostics’ applications for specific disclosure and pre-action disclosure made in the context of a public procurement dispute with The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. In the underlying facts of the case, Roche challenged the Trust’s award of a contract for the provision of laboratory services in Yorkshire to a rival bidder.
