Nature of case: This is part of litigation already reported in BLR and Con LR. This part concerns the issue as to whether additional work that a design and build contractor was required by the employer to carry out entitled it to payment. The CA upheld the Judge in finding that the further steelwork required came within the contractual scope of works.
