The Claimants (“OSR”) made three disruption and prolongation claims against the Defendant (“AUK”) arising out of the onshore laying of a thirty inch gas export pipeline in the Shetland Islands in Scotland in the sum of c£10m. The claims concerned unforeseen ground conditions, permissions required for temporary crossings and the supply of a 55 tonne beach valve and cabin.
