VGC Construction Ltd v Jackson Civil Engineering Ltd

2008

Citation: EWHC 2082, TCC, (2008) CILL 2627

Nature of case: The respondent main contractors, Jackson, sought to resist enforcement of an adjudication decision in favour of the applicant sub-contractor VGC.  The court, granting VGC’s application, rejected Jackson’s arguments that there had been a binding agreement to withdraw the claim or that it had been so nebulous and ill-defined as to be incapable of giving rise to a dispute.
