Nature of case: This case has some factual similarity to Picardi v Cuniberti, albeit on a contractual rather than statutory adjudication. The contract was here considered binding even though unsigned by the employer. The adjudication provisions were freely negotiated and did not contravene the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.
