Matthew Finn outlined the general principles relating to force majeure provisions, and explored various issues that may arise when a contracting party seeks to rely upon the COVID-19 pandemic as a force majeure event. Adrian Williamson QC and Sean Wilken QC then offered their experience, delving into audience questions on the subject.
