Sean Wilken QC is speaking among an impressive panel discussing the “Role of ADR in Pakistan in Resolving Frustration and Force Majeure Issues Arising from COVID-19” organised by the Center for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration. Topics covered will include the impact of COVID-19 on contractual performance and the approach of arbitral tribunals and courts to arguments of force majeure. They will also examine contract frustration and how arbitration can be used to deal effectively with force majeure disputes.
