Sarah Hannaford QC and Fionnuala McCredie QC will each be speaking at various White Paper Procurement conferences on 'Awarding Public Contracts Skillfully and Lawfully within the Procurement Rules'. Sarah and Fionnuala will both be tackling the question: "What is considered to be a 'serious breach', in the context of damages as a remedy being available only when there is a 'serious breach' of the procurement regulations?". Fionnuala will be speaking in Manchester on 15 May and London on 17 May. Sarah will be speaking in Dublin on 22 May and Belfast on 24 May. The White Paper Procurement conference, which provides answers to 21 'thorny questions' from sought-after lawyers and industry experts, covers topics including: assessing competence and capability without favouring known suppliers; review clauses; FOI requests; and the ESPD process.
