Keating Chambers welcomes back Samuel Townend KC to full-time practice following his year as Chair of The Bar Council of England and Wales.
Building on the Bar Council’s previous work, Samuel’s priorities for the year included addressing chronic underfunding across jurisdictions and the courts estate, promoting diversity, removing unnecessary regulatory burdens on the profession and tackling inadequate and unequal pay.
Samuel also hosted a special podcast with Keating Chambers’ members Professor Uff CBE KC, Dr Christopher Thomas KC together with Lord Grabiner KC as part of the TCC 150 series last year, which is available here.
Now he is back to full-time practice, Sam will be picking back up on his domestic and international practice that spans Keating Chambers’ core practice areas.
